Balance Changes Blog Post (June 20th)

    I asked anyone in the AF2 discord if they had some thoughts on this and got this response:

    Personally, I don't see any glaring problems with the changes, and I think the changed mantreads and pocket pistol would be fun to play with. I like that they're trying to make previously underused weapons interesting at the least.

    Anyone else have thoughts on this?

    First things first, RIP Guillotine.

    Spy changes were definitely needed, although I'm not sure how to feel about RNG on a weapon with the ability to headshot. Lowering the overall damage on the Ambassador might be a better choice in my opinion, but we'll see how that pans out.
    Sniper change is definitely gonna affect the competitive scene, so that'll be interesting. Darwin's Danger Shield got a well-deserved nerf too.
    Very, very glad to see the overall changes to the minigun mechanics, I think I'll be playing Heavy a great deal more if the changes carry through.
    And Hightower will be even more of a fustercluck now, but that's alright.

    Will be exciting to see if anything changes by the time the update rolls out!
